TMI Tuesday.

My sweet old dog Bailey is sick... looks like he has some kind of infection in his gums. Poor old guy. Guess I'll be going to the vet this morning, since I don't work until 1:00 p.m. Anyway, on to the questions...

1. Under what conditions would you kiss a stranger?
Well, there’s a kiss, and there’s a KISS. A friendly kiss on the lips could happen almost anytime or place. But a full-out lip-lock would require lots of alcohol, methinks.

2. Who was the last person you sent a text message to? If you’ve never sent someone a text message, is there some reason?
I emailed my friend Jimmy (the gym teacher from the school I used to teach at) to respond to a text he sent me. I really miss him a lot, and he misses having me there. Texting is one of the ways we keep in touch—other than that, I’m not much of a texter.

3. When was the last time you deliberately surprised someone?
Well, I surprised my co-worker and dear friend Penny with a birthday gift—a photo album for vacation pictures, specifically from the Caribbean cruise she’s taking in April.

4. How often do walk somewhere (hopefully, other than the mailbox)?
Several times a day... I have a dog, and no yard! Bailey loves his walks, even in this horrific Chicagoland winter weather. The only time he doesn’t like to walk is when it’s raining.

5. What were the longest and shortest durations of your romantic relationships?
Longest: 16+ years. Shortest: two weeks.

Bonus (as in optional): What is missing from your life?
Fulfillment in my career. I haven’t yet found the courage to fully explore the possibilities for me as a performer.
